Creole Garlics
These are of the softneck silverskin family but behave like hardneck garlics. They are beautiful purple pink clove colors, that perform best in mild Winter climates, We are seeing them survive our Ohio climate and thrive our zone 6 environment. They are generally smaller in size approximately 1.5 inch but may grow larger in your soil especially if you are more Southern. They are sweetly aromatic and have a lovely flavor. They store on average 10-12 months. A pound of seed will yield approximately 70-80 cloves.
