Did you know that you can eat the seed garlic? It’s all certified organic so what you don’t plant you may eat!! We are proudly certified organic by OEFFA USDA (OEFFA # 2446). We feel it is important that we farm without pesticides and chemicals and that we nourish our soil making it more beneficial for the next crop and for the health of our environment.

      We ordered a small amount of seed garlic.  I planted it in the fall as instructed and had a great harvest in the summer.  We planted cloves from this harvest and had alot left for cooking.

      An easy shopping experience and a huge selection of garlic.  I had a concern about my delivery and reached out to their customer service email address.       I am so glad to find a local organic garlic grower here in Dayton, OH!  This is my first year ordering from Mad River and look forward to seeing how they turn out next year.  So far the experience with Joanne and Mad River Garlic Growers has been great.  I received my order over the weekend and the bulbs look great.       I wish I could give them a 10 star review! My garlic arrived at the perfect time for planting. Each garlic head was beautiful,  with large cloves. I thought because I ordered so late that I would get the small or bottom of the barrel heads, but was so pleased with what I got.  They sent a detailed and helpful growing guide and a nice, well made mesh bag to store my harvest in next spring.  They were so personable when communicating with me.  They are very busy and had an automatic response to some of my emails that would normally answer most questions.  Since it didn't answer my question,  I did get a personal response when needed.  I love this US grown garlic...I'm excited to support a US farm...we need them desperately! I highly recommend this great business and product!

      Let me start by saying the customer service, communications, by the owner are second to none. This was my first time trying Mad River Garlic Growers and I am overwhelmed by the quality of the bulbs (Music & Georgian Crystal) I ordered.
